Smallville Season 11 002 Cbr 150: How It Compares to the TV Series and Other Comics

In the aftermath of Forever Evil, A.R.G.U.S. and the JLA has taken all the heat for everything that happened, the villains taking over and the grid going down so the government has dissolved the team. Catwoman broke into a lab with a super computer that had the power to scrub her personal info clean out of the A.R.G.U.S. database and replace it with misinformation so they won't be able to find her unless she wants them to. Green Arrow has being trying to get the team back without the government's approval but Green Lantern declines Arrow's offer because he wants to search for the person who will become the new Power Ring. Katanna also declines Arrow's offer as she has aligns herself with the Outsiders, a secret society composed by various clans built around a totem weapon. Even though Hawkman has been missing Green Arrow has a lead on something so he is willing to look for him if he gets some help. Vibe and Element Woman are missing too. Amanda Waller and Steve Trevor are not able to do anything about the team but Waller asked Stargirl to debrief Trevor to get all the background she could so she somehow can put a new team together because according to her they need them. Trevor advises Courtney to recruit new members and relocate somewhere outside the U.S., as the government will be an obstacle to them. Manhunter after been informed by Waller finds Stargirl and decides to help her put a new team together. The Justice League of America series will be replaced by a new title called Justice League United. The team will be renamed to Justice League Canada, being relocated to Toronto. Martian Manhunter, Hawkman, Green Arrow and Stargirl will be the only ones of the original roster that will remain on the team with new members including Supergirl, Animal Man, Adam Strange and his wife Alanna, whose both nationality will be changed to Canadian and Equinox, a 16-year-old Cree teen from Moose Factory with the civilian name Miiyahbin, whose power stems from the Earth and changes with the seasons.

The most crucial difference between the team and their comic counterpart is that the team is less public, operating more as a 'black ops strike team' in situations where conventional law enforcement would be unable or unwilling to take action, primarily focusing on preventing the abuse of superhumans by officials such as Lex Luthor or Slade Wilson, although they have become increasingly public as time goes on and the general populace becomes more aware of superhumans but as of season 11 they are basically Watchtower networking and coordinating allied agents across the globe[1] and the public has been presented with no formal, identifiable "team" of yet.[2]
